DEPARTURE FROM THE OLD HOMESTEAD, 1862 p

Argentina

Neuchâtel emigrants to Argentina

George-Emile Perret, son of Jules-Arthur Perret who emigrated from Switzerland to Canada, did not stay in his father’s adopted country, but travelled to Argentina in 1912 and settled there. Two of George-Emile’s grandparents were from different branches of the Perret family and at least one line goes back to about 1650.

There is at least one branch of the Huguenin family in Argentina today, but we currently have no details of their emigrant ancestors.

Please contact us for further details of any of these families or if you have information to share.
